A Discount on a Discoung Gets Confusing

As the weather was bleak the other day, me and the wife decided to take a visit to the McArthur Glenn Designer Outlet near York. If you’ve never visited, it’s a shopping centre lined with designer shops at discount prices.

As we passed through, one area that struck me was how many sales were on. I mean this was a discount shopping center that was having a sale.

So what does this mean? Either no one wants the stuff that no one wants, or the public just isn’t buying this week. Perhaps the vote to leave the EU had kicked in causing panic among the retailers.

Either way what I did notice was how poor the arrangement of graphics were, advertising all the promotions.

This was a discount outlet, so the products were heavily discounted anyway, with another discount on top.

In some shops this was becoming confusing. I wasn’t quite sure what the end price was and neither was the wife. When we asked an assistant even they had to stop for a minute to work things out.

If these places had planned their campaigns properly and consider how the customer views things. They could have been better, much better.

When you are next thinking up your campaigns, it makes sense to consider using a professional copywriter. You can easily find these services fairly cheap, on freelance sites such as People Per Hour or Upwork.
